Forsythia used to be the first flowers of spring to be brought inside my house and placed in a vase. They last quite a long time. Crocuses never did well, even when placed in a frog in a bowl. This is a a great shot.
Thanks! That was one of those breath-catching moments – the last time I had looked at that garden it was all twigs and buds, then YELLOW!! (Oh I so love the spring!)
